Description:
Tibbitt Lake is the end of the road, the terminus of the Ingraham Trail and the start of the seasonal winter road to the diamond mines and further north.
Tibbitt Lake is our most easterly observing site in case Yellowknife and west are clouded out.  This site consists of a rock outcrop with scattered trees at the top.  The horizon is unobstructed to the northwest.  There are no services.

The view from the Tibbitt Lake site towards the north. The site overlooks the lake of the same name.

View of the Tibbitt Lake site. Although the outcrop is uneven, there should not be too great of an effort to get larger equipment on top.
